Announcing LinkrUI 2.90

LinkrUi 2.90 Streamlines Asset Management with New Features and Enhancements

Santa Cruz Software is excited to announce the latest update to LinkrUI, version 2.90. This new release introduces several impactful features designed to enhance the user experience and streamline digital asset management workflows, making it easier than ever for teams to manage assets across multiple platforms.

New Features in LinkrUI 2.90

  • Split List View: A powerful new feature that enables side-by-side folder and asset viewing, resolving hierarchy duplication issues. This enhancement is available for Dash, Coconutbox, Marcomgather, and Mediagraph users.
  • Transparency Grid: Users can now enable a transparency grid in Preferences, making it easier to see transparent backgrounds on asset thumbnails for precise design work.
  • Full WEBP Support (Cloudinary): LinkrUI now fully supports the WEBP format for Cloudinary, expanding asset compatibility and ensuring smoother workflows.
  • Larger Preview Image Size (ImageBank): Asset previews in the Details section are now larger by default, with resizing functionality to better fit available space. This addresses the requested image preview size improvements from ImageBank users.

New Integration – Figma Support

As part of LinkrUI 2.90, we are excited to announce Figma integration as part of LinkrUI Social, extending LinkrUI’s capabilities to this growing design and collaboration platform that also enhances design workflows. Now, teams using Figma can seamlessly search, access, and manage assets stored in their DAM systems directly within Figma, simplifying their design process even further.

Enhancements

  • Improved Filter Dialog UI: The Filter dialog’s user interface has been refined for better clarity and ease of use, making asset searching more intuitive.
  • Simplified Sorting Access: Sorting options are now directly accessible from the main page, moving away from the Filter dialog, and making sorting assets faster and more efficient.

New DAM Integrations

LinkrUI also expands its compatibility with several new Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, providing even more flexibility for users. The latest integrations include Coconutbox by Cokuna, EasyDB DAM by Fylr, and Comrads, ensuring seamless asset management and enhanced workflow for teams using these platforms. With these additions, LinkrUI now integrates with 37 DAM systems.

Three Unique Versions of LinkrUI

LinkrUI offers three tailored versions to meet the specific needs of different workflows:

  • LinkrUI for Creative Cloud: Designed for Adobe Creative Cloud apps such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, enabling seamless asset management directly within Adobe tools.
  • LinkrUI for Office: Integrates with Google Drive and Microsoft Office apps like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, bringing powerful asset management capabilities to office productivity tools.
  • LinkrUI for Social: With the addition of Figma in LinkrUI 2.90, this version now also supports Adobe Express and Figma, enabling easy asset integration for social media designers and collaborators.
